Name: Knife-Fighting
Primary/Secondary or Pool: Secondary
Archetypes: Stalker

[Many of the attacks from the paired dagger attacks of this set require two attack rolls, and animate as an attack from each dagger. If either hits, the Defense Debuff or other secondary effect (such as ‘bleeding’ Damage over Time) occurs normally. There is not a doubled Defense Debuff or other secondary effect if both ‘stabs’ strike in a single attack. Most of the individual attacks will do less damage, but if both components of a single attack hit, it end up with almost equal DPS (a little more, actually, to account for it requiring two 'hit rolls' to get the full effect).

For visuals, I'm picturing 'punch-daggers,' such as the Katar for the primary weapons, and the Congo Throwing Iron for the 'Hunga-Munga.' ]

1) Stabbing Strikes – Fast recharge, does 2 Minor damage Lethal attacks (roll each hit separately, unlike Shadow Punch, it isn’t ‘all-or-nothing’), minor Def debuff. (The KF stabs the target twice with fast quick low jabs to the abdomen, one then the other.)

2) Slashing Strikes – Moderate recharge, does 2 Minor damage Lethal attacks (roll separately), with a minor Def debuff and Minor DoT (DoT doesn’t change, it is the same if either or both Slashing Strikes ‘hit’). (The KF slashes upwards with each hand, starting the move with hands crossed at his waist, and ending up above his head, carving an ‘X’ on the targets torso)

3) Whirling Steel – Slow recharge, 8’ AoE does 2 Minor damage Lethal attacks (roll separately on each target) that include a minor Def debuff and Minor DoT). (The KF appears to spin in place, with arms out perpendicular to his body, ending in a crouching posture on one knee with arms outstretched. All in the area suffer two slashing strikes as he spins.)

4) Assassin’s Strike – mechanically identical to all other AS powers. (The KF drops to a crouch and lunges forward with both daggers, appearing to shove both of them deep into his target. Unlike most Knife-Fighting attacks, only one attack roll is made and one damage result occurs, although as a special concession to the theme of a Knife-Fighter, the damage result is divided into two messages, so if he does 1000 pts of damage, he might see ‘Assassin’s Strike!’ and ‘500! 500!’ instead of ‘Assassin’s Strike!’ and ‘1000!’

5) Build-Up (The KF grates his two blades against each other and ends up striking sparks from the metal.)

6) Placate (The KF turns away with a graceful dance-like flourish, almost seeming to pirouette away from his target.)

7) Dual-Master – Moderate recharge, does only 1 Moderate damage Lethal attack (complete with Def debuff), but also executes a Parry maneuver with the twin blade, granting the user a Def buff for a short time. (The KF stabs forcefully with one blade, while raising the other one to ward off a blow.)

8) Hunga-Munga – 50’ range, Moderate recharge, Moderate Lethal damage, Knockback and Slows movement / attack speed for a short time. (The KF puts away his daggers and draws forth a Congo Throwing ‘Knife,’ also called a Throwing Iron, or a Hunga-Munga, a fearsome looking bit of ironmongery with many nasty points, weighing a good 20 lbs and reputed to be able to sever a limb at 10 paces…)

9) Stop-Thrust / Skewer – Slow recharge, 2 Moderate damage Lethal attacks + Moderate Damage Over Time + Def debuff + Mag 2 Disorient for a brief time. (The KF drops to one knee and stabs upwards into his foe with both blades, shish-kebabing his foe, and then the blades 'snikt' open to reveal that they are triple-bladed, further inflicting the deep hurting!)
