Power Set Name: Surgical Modifications
Primary/Secondary or Pool Power: Primary
Archetype: Mastermind

[For costume options, blood-spattered aprons and surgeon's masks are de rigeur.]

1) Hand Crossbow (fast / light damage +slow move and recharge, same appearance and effects as that used by Reapers.)

2) Stitch Cadaver (one to three Cadavars appear with Brawl and Vomit, the body appears on the ground and the MM kneels over it and injects something into it.)

3) Heavy Crossbow (slower / moderate damage +slow move and recharge. Same animation / effect as the Mortificator attack.)

4) Surgery (Cadavers become Abominations (graphic is replaced, more hit points**, better damage, but buffs stay attached?), Reapers become Mortificators and simply become tougher (more hit points**, better damage), Eidolon leans Midnight Grasp and Oppressive Gloom. The MM pulls out a scalpel in one hand and needle and thread in the other, and goes to 'work' on the pet to be buffed, slashing at it with the scalpel and poking it with the needle.)

5) *Necrotic Sedatives (toxic spray cone that dissolves flesh, debuffing recharge, dam resistance and endurance of all in the area, as well as doing minor damage over time. Sprayed from a back-mounted tank / sprayer arrangement, like an exterminator would use, not ‘vomited.’)

OR

5) *Last Rites (Targeted Cadaver / Abomination becomes Embalmed, and explodes. Targeted Eidolon explodes in a Blackstar (Dark Blast) explosion. Targeted Reaper / Mortificator transforms into a Luminous Eidolon (Neutrino Bolt, Focus, X-Ray Beam, Neutron Bomb, Electron Haze, Irradiate) for 2 minutes, and then dies. The MM throws a cannister with the radiation symbol on it to the pet to be affected and it either becomes the bomb, or mutates / irradiates the pet into a living weapon.)

6) Recruit Reaper (calls up one or two Reapers with Bonesaws, Cleavers and a DartGun. The MM pulls out a tiny cellphone and calls for consulting physicians, who walk up without fanfare, wiping their their hands on a blood-soaked cloth in preparation for surgery.)

7) Triage (kneel before any fallen henchman (and only a henchman!) and restore it to life. Restored henchmen retain any buffs, and return to the control window, they are not ‘temporary’ or uncontrollable pets. This is fast, cheap and recharges quickly (but can be interrupted) and is more efficient than re-summoning and rebuffing.)

8) Awaken Eidolon (the standard corpse appears on the ground, as if about to call up a cadavar, but the MM produces a bottle clearly marked with a skull-and-crossbones and pours it into the corpses mouth, which then is surrounded by a momentary 'Dark Embrace' aura and arises as an Eidolon with Brawl, Dark Blast, Shadow Punch, Dark Embrace and Dark Regeneration.)

9) Vivisection (Cadavers/Abominations affected gain random super-powers (like Phantom Decoys, some throw energy blasts, some ice, some use super-strength, some whip out fire swords or ice swords. Unlike Phantom Decoys, the pet keeps the same powers after it has manifested them, so a 'Fire Sword' pet will have only fire blast or fire sword, and a 'Super-strength' pet will only have Punch and Hurl Boulder). Reapers/Mortificators affected gain the power to resurrect fallen Cadavers/Abominations as temporary unbuffable pets by kneeling in front of them. These pets can be replaced immediately by resummoning as well, as the temp pet doesn’t ‘count.’ Eidolon learns Night Fall and Tenebrous Tentacles.)

*Pick one to fill the 'AoE' slot. Last Rites would be my first choice. If no Last Rites, consider having last pet buff transform Cadavers/Aboms (only) into Embalmed instead of 'buffing' them.

** If the 'add more hit points' thing is problematic, just add a decent damage resistance buff and / or some degree of accelerated healing to adjust their 'lifespan' appropriately.
