Gracian has followed his family's insistent urging and entered the clergy of Asmodeus, despite not finding the faith and its obsession with diabolism and slavery to his taste. Still, the law is the law, and he will not go against his nation or his family, having endured the lengthy acolyte process and now seeking to use his knowledge of the law and his persuasive skills to help ensure that order is also accompanied by reason, and by justice, and not simply used as an excuse for sadism or degenerate acts. He is quite willing to negotiate with fiends, and finds their open evil somewhat refreshing, compared to that of his fellow Chelaxians, who like to pretend at being something more pure, while hiding fiendish natures behind their gleaming smiles and perfectly pleated robes. At odds with his hierarchy for his 'squeamishness,' Gracian jumped at the opportunity to be 'laterally assigned' to the Pathfinder Society.
