Caius' goal in life is to become a Signifier of the Hellknight Order of the Gate, and he already has a sweeping red cloak, hidden away in his backpack, for the day he earns that exalted position. Sometimes, when nobody is looking, he puts it on and poses in front of a mirror, but he would be terribly embarrassed to be caught putting on airs. He has joined the Pathfinders in hopes of discovering forgotten bits of lore, particularly relating to diabolism, the planes and demonology, that he can use to advance his chances of being accepted into the Order of the Gate.
