Chris was an Olympic contender for the Greek team in power-lifting, until

his heart-attack induced Eruption when his skin turned into red-hot hardened

bronze… Always a player, he became something of a local celebrity and

hero about town to make up for his lost Olympic hopes, reveling in his new

powers and fame. He could power down, but was always a trifle warmer

than normal feeling and his skin retained a slight ruddy-golden tinge that

could be mistaken for a good tan. (He became unable to get an actual

tan after developing his powers, thanks to his Adaptability, but already

had a monster tan when he erupted and is quite thankful!)

Chris never wanted to be a bodybuilder, he just wanted people to pay a lot

of attention to him and found power-lifting to be one of the best ways of

getting this attention. Now he gets all the attention that he craves, the sort

of attention he couldn’t get at home from his single mom with 4 other kids

to split her attention between. He treats his family with the same benign

neglect that he feels he has received from them, and, to his mothers credit,

she seems to have no interest in cashing in on her now-famous son.

When working with the Avatars he wears the Eufiber costume that the

government had created specially for him, resembling stylized Thracian

bronze armor and helmet, but even in his mundane day to day attire,

he can Attune his clothing to adjust to his powers. He is attempting to

increase his ability to Attune items, hoping to soon be using a flaming

bronze broadsword and shield in melee...
