Zhan was chosen to portray the Element of Wind for the 7 Samurai show in Japan andseems to perfectly fit the mold.  He is quiet and severe, showing no emotion at any time.  Despite a deep understanding of Ninjutsu and Zen Archery, Zhan prefers the Codes of the Samurai and is annoyed by the fact that a Western Pro Wrestler was chosen over him to play the role of the Ronin on the show.  He is deeply aware of the rift between the Japanese and the Chinese and how it affects his chances of gaining any prominence in the Japanese film market.  Now that the show is over he has a desire to test his talents, tested only on episodes of the show, against true-life foes and to try to live the Way of the Warrior.  He always had to wear a mask in the show and is all-but unknown, especially to Westerners.  He seems to have received military training somewhere...  He usually hides in combat, picking off unamored foes or their gadgets until spotted, at which time he rushes amongst them to scatter them like ten-pins before finding a new hiding-place.
