Leo seems awfully mature for a 23 yr old and has, in fact, been all over the world, having gotten his PHD in Archeology on a dig at the ruins of Troy.  While on that dig, his colleagues noticed that he never seemed to get tired or hurt and that being on his work parties usually was a sure ticket to an easy day.  After being investigated by the department head to see if he was merely allowing his workers to slack, it was determined that he was just apparently a good leader as his people got nearly twice as much work done and never felt really tired or sore.  They didn't even seem to get sunburns or insect bites as often!  His massages became a thing of legend around camp and the camp medic ended up getting into a drunken rage because everyone went to Leo when they didn't feel good and after a few minutes of his massage therapy left feeling 100% better.  The final clue was when a student fell through a weak structure and audibly broke her ankle, Leo jumped down and after he felt the ankle to determine the severity of the injury, she thanked him and got up and climbed out without a trace of injury.  She didn't realize what exactly had just happened but Leo and a few of the other onlookers did.  That evening, after a beer, Leo and his colleagues decided that it would be best if he put his powers to work as a physician and leave archaeology for good.  He hates the change, but feels guilt over his selfishness and realizes that he cannot ignore the hurts of the world without contributing to them.
