Mountain Dwarves - +2 Con, -2 Cha, Fighter or Wizard

Mt Dwarves are most common in their capital city of Burok Torn, but clans of them live and work in many free city-states.  They have no above-ground kingdom.

 

Charduni - +2 Con, +2 Wis, -2 Dex, -2 Cha, Fighter or Cleric, no more than +2 Natural Armor bonus

The Charduni are not native to Ghelspad, but are from the southern continent of Termana.  They are often residents of Dunahnae, but also can be found in limited numbers in local city-states.

 

Forsaken Elves - +2 Dex, +2 Int, -2 Str, -2 Con, Cleric or Wizard

The Forsaken Elves also live primarily in Termana, where they are a dying race.  They can be found wandering almost anywhere, although a strong bias against Elves means they will not be found in any of the Calastian nations.

 

Wood Elves - +2 Dex, -2 Con, Druid or Ranger

These Elves live primarily in Vera-Tre.

 

Broadreach Elves - +2 Dex, -2 Cha, Druid or Ranger, uses normal Wood Elven weapons instead of those listed

These are primarily a subspecies of Wood Elf resident to the Hornsaw Forest.

 

Half-Elves – N/A, Any

Many come from Termana, where the Elves are no longer interfertile with each other, but they can be found in other nations where Elves and Humans co-exist, such as Durrover.

 

Half-Orcs - +2 Str, -2 Int, -2 Cha, Barbarian or Rogue

Most common in barbaric cultures, near Orc-controlled lands, but a Half-Orc majority presides in the nation of Zathiske.

 

Halflings - +2 Dex, -2 Str, Rogue

Halflings no longer have a land of their own, having been folded into the Calastian Empire as the Heteronomy of Virduk.  They are the most common species overall other than Humans in various human cities, often making up at least 10% of the population.

Gnomes - +2 Dex, -2 Str, Rogue or Illusionist

Gnomes have no land of their own, existing as nomadic tinkers, craftsmen, entertainers and petty thieves. Their painted wagons are a common sight in more civilized lands, but they are generally not welcome to overstay their welcome.
