Born Prajasthani Mahmoud to faithful Islamic Pakistani in the FSA, Aram has changed his name to sound more 'Hindu' as an act of rebellion.  His turn towards Hindu faiths and Indian traditions marks no more actual devotion than would the turn towards Satanism of the son of devout Protestants.  His father works as an engineer in the Caribbean currently (although he did work on the New DC arcology in East District) and his mother works for Wazukawa as a receptionist (and after 30 years makes money that is competitive with her husbands on again off again work contracts!).  Despite their Pakistani heritage, his mother is 5th generation American and his fathers family has been living in or around Boston for 3 generations, so 'Aram' knows almost nothing of the Pakistani language or 'his' culture, other than that he has a strong interest in Hinduism (finding polytheism 'cool') and tigers.  He would even go to China to see one of the last surviving live tigers if he could, but for now he settles for holo-projections and some striped tropical fish his father has sent him from the Caribbean which he keeps in a salt water tank in his tiny apartment.

Aram is only mildly interested in Biotech, thinking that hardtech is the way to go.  His main interest in Biomanipulation is for self-defense and he has no real interest in proceeding beyond Disruption, in fact, he generally find only the first few levels of Photokinesis to interest him as well, saving his principal focus for Technokinesis, which he finds to be the be-all, end-all of existence.  He spends far too much time in old Indian holosims, his favorite being an adaptation of Roger Zelaznys' hoary classic Lord of Light, with himself as Siddhartha of course!  (The man who coined the concept of Electrokinesis is, not surprisingly, well represented in Orgotek holo-archives.)  Unfortunately, Aram has no real understanding of modern combat in any realistic sense and has made the mistake of applying to work along side members of the Legion in the area of the Blight Zone as he feels that he 'needs a change' from pure research and study, study, study.

Aram is 5' 8", weighs about 155 lbs and would probably be handsome if not for his rather unfortunate facial scarring (the result of a rather nasty mutated strain of chickenpox he came down with as a child), making him look rather like Edward James Olmos or Robert Davi (only thinner, younger and geekier).  Worse yet, despite his youth, he is already showing signs of premature baldness!  He is only 21, but has spent the last 8 years rather single mindedly hacking about, crashing mini-nets about the house and mastering his father structural engineering texts on-line, which, combined with a first-rate education provided by his family and enhanced by his Orgotek training, has made him one of the premiere technical minds in a firm full of top of the line technicians.

He has picked up an Enhancer gauntlet, but finds the EES suits to be the tackiest things on Siva’s green earth and wouldn't be caught dead wearing one of these 'walking Christmas trees' no matter what it does for you!
