Dr Gita Chandrasakar grew up in Hyderabad in central India and was a social worker / counselor when the Chitra Banu were purged in 2109. She has never forgiven the other Orders for this atrocity, having all sorts of conspiracy theories for how the Quantakinetics were more powerful and the other Orders were jealous of that power, how only they knew the truth and the other Orders conspired to keep it hidden or how they were made a scapegoat for the deeds of others. She feels that it is yet another strike against the Indian people to keep them down and from becoming the world power that is their right. In principal she feels that the Ministry, working on behalf of China, and perhaps shadowy Orgotek, working to insure that Indian noetic science didn't undermine their own monopoly, were the main instruments of this purge, that the ISRAns and Norça were hidden schemers playing both sides and the Upeo and Docs and Legionnaires were mostly pawns. As a result, when she tested positive for Latency the next year, she joined the Docs, since she saw in them the best chance to help her people and focus their anger where it belonged, against the anti-Indian oppressors!

Gita is in her early 30's now, and never being particularly attractive, she settles for distinctive and functional, wearing her waist-length black hair in a single thick braid down her back and having a fairly common Bio-henna job that impregnates her skin with special dye-secreting micro-organisms, making her skin permanantly a deep shade of brick red.

She usually wears tight clothing and her body is in acceptable shape, even if she isn't beautiful by any means. She is a common sight at pro-India rallies and native traditional celebrations in her hometown and her henna job is a special experimental bioapp that she is testing out, being both self-maintaining and capable of being deactivated by act of will! She often turns it 'off' when working with children or the elderly who sometimes react poorly to a red skinned woman, but generally keeps the organisms active at all times. So far the only side effect she has noted is that she is always a bit warmer and drier, which she doesn't mind, she merely drinks an extra glass of water or two a day, and that whenever she bathes or even washes her hands and face thoroughly she tends to leave a pinkish tint in the water.
