Name: Earthen Blast
Primary/Secondary or Pool: Primary for Blasters / Corrupters, Secondary for Defenders.
Archetypes: Blasters, Corrupters and Defenders.

[This power combines best as a Defender / Corrupter match-up with Fortification.]

1) Boulder - this moderate damage blast does Smashing damage and has a moderate recharge time, creating a single boulder that flies into the target, often causing knockback and always canceling Flight, as Air Superiority. Unlike Hurl, the animation has the Blaster point, and the rock uproot itself from the ground and hurls itself at the foe. No heavy lifting required.

2) Pebbles - this damaging effect is weaker than Boulder, but recharges fasting, creating a swarm of pebbles that batter and swirl around the targetted foe, having a chance of disorienting him for a moment, as well as causing light damage. The swarm appears at the point of the target foe, rising up from the ground beneath him and swarm around him doing DoT damage and having a slight chance to Disorient with each damage 'tick.'

3) Earthen Jaws - creates a huge maw of earth beneath the target, crushing him for moderate lethal damage, but occuring and disappearing too quickly to have an effective Immobilization effect. This effect has a Mag 2 Disorient effect as well.

4) Shockwave - creates a massive temblor at the target area, having a strong chance for knockdown and doing minor Smashing damage-over-time to all in the affected area. It lasts about 10 seconds and affects a Tar Patch sized area. The user crouches and lays his hand on the ground to activate this power, and obviously he can't use it if flying.

5) Earthen Grasp - creates an enormous fist of earth and stone that erupts from beneath the target and roots him in place for the duration (immobilize), applying smashing DoT damage and also imposing a -Defense for a short time.

6) Stone Spray - a cone of stalagmite-like spears of stone showers the affected area for moderate lethal damage. The Blaster raises his arms and they seem to lunge from the ground surrounding him and radiating out like a Spine Burst effect, only coming from the ground at his feet, instead of from his own body. The spears also cause a slowing effect when they hit, slowing both movement and attack speed.

7) Earth Burst - a large area around the target erupts into stony stalagmites, inflicting moderate damage on their eruption, and slowing movement and applying trivial damage to any passing through the affected area for the duration (like Caltrops, only doing moderate damage on their sudden explosive appearance). They also apply a penalty to Defense to all in the area, but that fades quickly once they get out of the 'patch.'

8) Rockfall - a barrage of stone drops on a small area, doing heavy damage and disorienting all affected (Only Mag 1, but automatic), as well as debuffing Accuracy for a short time. Resembles a meteor shower, and the damage might be part smashing and part fire.

9) Meteorite - a massive boulder drops from the heavens leaving a fiery trail and does extreme damage of both Lethal and Fire types, as well as triggering a shockwave area effect on the impact site that both Disorients and Knocksback. This power takes time to activate and can be interrupted, and it has a Very Long recharge time.

Alternate powers, to replace any of the above if needed;

* Magma Burst - hurls a stream of viscous molten rock at the target, inflicting moderate damage, and continuing DoT damage, plus slowing the targets movement and attack rate for the duration of the DoT effect.

* Volcanic Eruption - would replace Meteor Strike, being an interruptable power with a long activation time, and a Very Long recharge. It would do heavy fire damage to the target, and moderate fire damage to the surrounding area, as well as a continuing DoT effect for those remaining in the affected area as lava continues to surge from the riven earth.
